Tucked in a small shopping plaza and a very small and cute interior. Food was great (I had the Tripple Bee). 4 stars because the service was alittle but slow for the restaurant being pretty empty. It did get more crowded as we were eating and the service did start to pick up in pace. We took Bart and walked about a mile here. Well worth the walk and portions
We tried coming here on a Sunday for brunch, and the restaurant was full. It's a small place, so it filled quickly. We returned the following weekend, at 11:30 am on Saturday. Only one other table was filled. It could have been because it was a holiday weekend. My husband was in a crepe mood and got the Fruity Bee. I was in a curry mood and got the green curry with chicken. I liked that the portion was just the right size. The green curry was really good, but I'm a wimp when it comes to spiciness. Next time, I'll order the yellow curry.
A wonderful hidden treasure in Dublin. Very friendly mom and pop business ambiance with limited seating inside and some more outside. Abundant parking available. The Thai Basil Chicken Crepe and Green Curry Chicken Crepe were delicious. Portions were hearty, fresh, mouth watering flavors, spicyness was perfect, small side salad, and the crepes were pizza slice sized. We will definitely be back. We have also ordered their Thai dishes to go in the past as well. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch.
It took several tries, but I was finally able to place a takeout order when it wasn't too busy. On my prior attempts, the waiter kindly informed me it would take 25-45 minutes to cook the food due to a full house of dine-in patrons. Best to come before 11:30am to avoid a crowd. The Pad Thai Chicken was a good portion for the price. It was hot and freshly cooked by the two Thai women in the kitchen. I appreciate the dish was properly stir fried and not overwhelmed by sauce. Most customers ordered crepes which I will be back to try.
Solid crepe. I just wanted nutella and strawberry and that is exactly what I got. Was very happy with it and enjoyed the large pieces of strawberry slices. Good amount of nutella as well.
Blossom Bee opens where Sushi Q once was. Small dining area within + a few tables outside.sparse decor. Offerings: thai entrees, rice plates, soups, drinks. Seafood/veggie/veggie/savory/breakfast crepes. Sips: tom yum soup (cup 6.50) -medium notes provided by thai chili paste. Tartness notes by a mix of lemongrass, galangal, keffir lime leaves, sweet notes via lime, chicken meat, mushrooms. -no surprises. Tastes the usual fine. Eats: spicy eggplant rice plate (12.99) medium spicy -slight spicy from chili sauce, garlic. No saltiness as no fish sauce used. Pronounced sweetness source not confirmed by waiter who claims ignorance. Sugar cane sugar enhanced by onions, carrots, bell peppers, eggplant, chicken added savory notes. *food served with paper cups/plates, plastic utensils. Got check before rice plate arrived. 3.5 stars waiter spend most of time in kitchen... -food comparable to other Thai places. Nothing special.
What a nice little gem in a large plaza! They are super friendly in a cosy environment. We loved the crepes so much. Must come back to try their thai food. They have an interesting blend of american crepe, thai crepe, and thai food here. The crepes were very filled and flavorful. Nicely plated. Just the right amount of whipped cream and ice cream to pair with the dessert crepes I'd say! The blossom featured mixed berries which hit the spot. It also came with a raspberry sauce and toasted almonds. The warmed fruits were so delicious in the soft and tender crepe. I would get it again! The SBN was tasty with lots of hot nutella. Can't go wrong with the combination of strawberry, banana, and nutella! It was a lovely experience overall. The thai iced coffee was sweet and energizing. Yum!
Blossom Bee is hella quaint. It's unassuming and it's pretty good. It's small but packs hella character. There is a self service water station and enough seating inside or outside. I came here with a friend and it wasn't hard to get served on a Sunday Morning. I decided to get the spring beef crepe which was savory and pretty good. It was a little spicy, but good. My friend got the mango sticky rice crepe. She liked it a lot, but it look too sweet for me. by the way my pancreas be working. The place is good, i would go here again and even visit the next door neighbors,
What's the Buzz about Blossom Bee? Nestled in the heart of culinary innovation, Blossom Bee is not your average eatery--it's a flavor-packed adventure waiting to unfold. This small creperie and Thai fusion gem has been in the shopping center at the corner of Village Parkway and Amador Valley (by ACE Hardware) for over 3 decades. It has captured the hearts and taste buds of Dublin foodies, and for good reason! During the pandemic, they were serving carry-out and delivery only. This week, they reopened the dining room to allow a few people at a time to enjoy the cuisine from 10-3 every day except Mondays. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the delightful aroma of sizzling crepes and exotic Thai spices dancing in the air. The ambiance is a perfect fusion of quaint charm and good old-fashioned comfort. The place is cozy and quiet, with tables inside and out. They have several breakfast crepes on the menu. There are also savory, sweet, seafood, and Thai crepes. Each bite is a harmonious marriage of textures and tastes, leaving you eager for what's next. The crepe selection at Blossom Bee is a canvas of creativity. The Massaman Crepe, a nod to its Thai roots, combines the zing of Massaman coconut curry with the delicate folds of a perfectly cooked crepe. The Seafood Stromboli Crepe is a crab and shrimp delight that transports you to a seaside village of Thailand with every forkful. The restaurant is open until 3:00, so brunch rolls into lunch, and the menu is designed for that. The Thai food on the menu includes noodles, rice plates, and soups. The Tom Kha is a flavorful, spicy, and sour coconut soup. We enjoyed it with shrimp ($4 additional) and the flavor was spot-on perfect. The friendly owners at Blossom Bee add the final sprinkle of magic to your dining experience. Their passion for food and commitment to customer satisfaction shine through, making every visit feel like a delightful reunion with old friends. For a long time we've driven by this place and wanted to give it a try. Today my daughter and I did. First, there is no indoor seating right now. It's outdoor on tables or takeout only. After our order and payment were taken at the door, we sat at one of the tables outside. There is also a table with a water pitcher and cups. The wait for our breakfast was not long at all, maybe 15 minutes. It was brought out by a very polite, quiet older gentleman who told us repeatedly that he appreciated our business. Yes, as others have mentioned, the food came out on paper plates with plastic utensils. But, that wasn't a problem at all for us. My daughter ordered a Thai tea and the Fruity Bee. It's a crêpe with cinnamon apple, cranberries, banana, pecans, honey and cottage cheese. It was topped with some very large pecans, and there was a little side salad as it was close to lunchtime. She loved it. She said it was very filling and she couldn't eat it all. She brought home about 1/4 of it, but then finish the rest of it not too long after we got in the house. I ordered the Morning Break. It is a crêpe made with bacon, spinach, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, mozzarella, and pesto. It was topped with two pieces of bacon and there was also a side salad. SO good. There was a lot of each... Big slices of mushroom, bacon, lots of spinach, just the right amount of scrambled egg and the pesto gave it a really nice flavor. The crêpe was excellent. It was like eating a very, very thin buttermilk pancake. I wish I had asked what the dressing on the salad was, because it was also very good. We will definitely return.
